"Headshot" is my least favorite word in the English dictionary. They're everywhere around us and you certainly don't want them. Why? Because they'll do absolutely nothing to differentiate you from everyone else vying for our attention in your industry.

Here's what you'll discover:

  • Headshots remind me of what I see when I'm walking through a park and someone has placed an ad on a park bench. Are you a lame real estate agent or a used car salesman? No, you're most certainly not.
  • Let's take advantage of being able to inject personality into our photos. Instead of going and getting headshots, here are a few keywords to find a search on Google: editorial photographer, lifestyle photographer, or even portrait photographers.
